Our Mission & Vision

Some believe that creating good software is all about using the latest and greatest software development tools.  Slick graphics and colorful creative advertisements will sell many people,  but in the end it's not really about the technology itself.  It's about how that technology integrates and supports what YOU need to do to be successful.

Our principal (click here for our principal's bio) began his career in the technology industry and created many systems that others found good.  However, it wasn't until he fully understood business processes and how those processes integrated with technology that his software became world class.

Each of our designs has been carefully engineered to closely align with your business processes (how you do things) to provide you with tools that don't get in the way of conducting business but make doing what you need to do easier.  Systems that align with your business processes closely allow you to be more productive and therefore more profitable.

The next element that makes great software is ease of use.   Employees need to find their tools easy to use and ones that create an environment that encourages them to want to follow your procedures.  Our designs accomplish these objectives by using simple and uncomplicated screens that allow almost anyone to feel at home with minimal training.  This allows you to on-board employees quicker and have fewer mistakes which cost you time and money.

The last element for great software is support.  Despite what anyone says software will from time to time error.  As your technology platform becomes a normal part of your business operation having it fail will sometimes bring your business to a complete halt.  What happens then?

Unless your software vendor is committed to providing you with a high level of support  you'll be loosing time and money.  Our staff is committed to keeping your system up and running, and we use state-of-the-art  Microsoft support tools to accomplish this objective.  Our Software Engineers can quickly "dial" in to your system and see first hand what your problem might be.  These tools also allow us to frequently make modifications to your system on the fly.  No more waiting around for that "update disk".  Sudden Service!  And that's the way our customers like it.

We've seen many software vendors develop products for automobile dealers and then modify them to the marine industry without fully understanding how different marine retailers are.  While we can debate the merits of such conversions we know with certainty that the pricing structures that migrate from the auto industry are beyond the means of a typical marine dealer.  Prices ranging from $15,000 to $50,000.00 are often quoted.  If your dealership is some marine retailing giant such prices may in fact be "reasonable".  For the rest of us these prices are absurd.   You work hard for your money and have family and employee obligations.  How can you justify such an investment?

While our systems are just as robust as the mega-systems our mission is to provide cost effective software solutions for average to mid-sized marine retailers.  We believe that this creates excellent value for our clients.  We also firmly believe that providing great value for our clients is a recipe for our business success.   We pledge to you that we will provide you with all of the system capabilities that you will require at a more than competitive price.

We also understand that even when you price your products to create great value there are individuals who still cannot make the investment required to automate or update their technology platform.  In response to this situation we have created a software "rental" program which minimizes the capital investment required to acquire our superior products.
